As quarantine restrictions become more relaxed this 2022, Filipinos are able to once again celebrate Pride Month together in person. Several LGBTQ+ groups have organized various activities across the country to celebrate Pride. See which ones you can attend below:

 

2022 Metro Manila Pride March and Festival

Kulay na magkakaiba, ngunit sabay-sabay na nagsusumigaw, para sa mga binubusalan at kinakalimutan, para sa hustisya at karapatan. #AtinAngKulayaan!

HAPI’s Overcoming 2022

Organizers: Humanist Alliance Philippines, International (HAPI)
What to expect:

  • Art Exhibit Opening and Pride Walk
  • Holy Union Ceremony

 

Pelikulaya: International LGBTQIA+ Film Festival

When: June 10 to 26, 2022
Where: Davao, Ilo-ilo, Negros
Organizers: Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP)
What to expect:

  • screenings of local and international films highlighting the narratives of members of the LGBTQIA+ community
  • finalists of the short film competition
  • panel discussions

National Museum of the Philippines’ Pride Month activities

When: June 13 to 22, 2022
Where: National Museum of Fine Arts, online
Organizers: National Museum of the Philippines
What to expect:

  • Bahaghari: Understanding SOGIESC and the Protection in Philippine Law (online webinar)
  • Pride Tour at the Museum
