Young Tykhon joins endgame expert Karsten Müller to analyse a few instructive positions from the 2018 Blitz and Rapid U10 World Championship. The Ukrainian is fully engaged and visibly happy to learn from the experienced trainer.
In over 4 hours in front of the camera, Karsten Müller presents to you sensations from the world of endgames – partly reaching far beyond standard techniques and rules of thumb – and rounds off with some cases of with own examples.
Tykhon, who is already a member of the Hamburg Sports Club, is in discussion with the German Chess Federation regarding a sponsorship program. Dorian Rogozenco, who is now training the 12-year-old, told Björn Jensen in a recent interview: “He is very motivated, and almost does too much”.
